im looking to buy a good sounding sub that is loud as hell im looking at the mofo122x but im told they sound terrible and cant hit anything for the lows iv looked at the jl w3 and i know it will be a good sounding sub but im not sure how loud it will be

any help with be appreciated

I have a jl 8w3 the sq is great but it's downright quiet on 250 rms. how low wattage are you looking for?

how much power do you have? Space? do you have a box? can you build your own box? etc. w3's are decent if you get super cheap but there not designed to be really loud. Go with

For the love of god take this. Then get an apsm-1300 for $110 if you don't already have an amp.

i have an amp its a 250 watt kicker i think its a zx250.1 not too terribly sure im just wanting low watts so i can keep the cost low anything below 150$ would be great but id go up to 200 if i had to is that SA-12d2 a good sub?? iv never heard of it before most of my knowledge is with the mainstream brands :/

the sa12s are awesome "low power" subs. i had one in a 2.25 cuft box and it did 133 on music, seeing only ~400rms from an mtx 3401. and they can get quite loud in the right enclosure with more power

and $130+ship is a great deal on a brand new one, if i had the funds in my paypal i would buy it right now even though i currently have no use for it. if i didnt just trade my other sa12 i would find a way to make this mine lol
