randy's ring and pinion has a very knowledgable staff, quick shipping, resonable prices, and quality parts. i orderd from them often when i was building rock crawlers.

i wouldn't make too big of a gear change from stock. what ratio did your car come with stock? you will also have to correct your spedometer to counter for the ratio change.

Either 3:73 or 4:10. Came w/ something high. It's ridiculously slow on take off, etc. It won't be stock, intake(upper-lower) and cam.

Oh, and the speedo cable change is $8.00

mustangs came with 3.27s in 5 speeds and 3.73s in automatics. 3.73s should be all you need 4.10s wont make for good highway driving or good gas mileage. check out 50resto.com.

jegs has the Ford Racing Gears for 189.99 but for the Jegs set is 179.99 for 3.73

My car is an 87. 87-93 are the same, more or less. 93 didn't have forged pistons.

No. That's what I want to put in there.. Either 3:73 or 4:10. They DIDN'T HAVE 3:73 stock.

I bought some 4:10's, so the thread is useless basicall

Haha you people are nuts! 5 speeds came with 2:73s and 3:08s were optional and autos came with 3:08s and optional 3:27s. 93 Cobras came with 3:55s. Even though you already bought some, GEFracing.com has them for 140.

true, they came out with some dog highway gears, 2.73 and 3.08's...look around some performance websites, I see people selling complete rearends that will drop right in for what you'll spend on gears and setup...
