looking for someone to make me custom fiberglass kick panels for my 2001 f150 to fit a set of 6.5 comps in them one mid and one tweet per kick

let me know wats the average price for these and how experienced are you and how good of work you do willing to pay good money for an awesome job

get resin from Uscompsites.com

look for a polyester resin called B440-Premium polyester layup resin. best resin with long work time.

you can also buy fiberglass from them or you can go to fiberglasssite.com to look at a large quantity of different styles of fiberglass. use a 1oz-2oz mat.

all your other supplies pick them up at home depot. get blue painters tape(don't get any other), buy about 10-20 2" paint brushes. the cheap ones that cost maybe a dollar each. you need foil, sand paper, 36grit, 100-200-300-400grit. a hot glue gun + lots of hot glue.

go to a fabric store and pick up some spandex like material. something thin and stretchy.

if you have a west marine nearby go over and pick up some resin mixing cups. they are thick and have measurments on them and are reusable. after resin dries in the cups you can just crack the resin and clean it out quite easily and basically have a new cup. lol.

also depending on what you will be covering your kicks with you may or may not need filler.

if you do need filler look for some Evercoat Rage Gold body filler. great stuff to work with and sands easy.

get some body filler then. when you sand it it doesn't have to be paint worthy smooth. just smooth enough to where the leather won't show any defects. you can sand up to 400grit.

ok i want to buy some pre made q logics or get someone to make some so its simple and easy but i want to try to glass because down the raod i want a pod for my doors to mount a 6.5 midrange and 6.5midbass and a tweet

with the premade q logics they just replace the existing kicks right so they dont take up much foot space but custom ones take up more space right
