pawn shop? Hell I bought an old pair of Planet Audio 12's (that I didn't think would last a day), at a pawn shop for a similar reason, and I beat those things to smithereens for months, lol.... 20 bucks for the pair.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, but pawn shops are a no-go here. Nothing even remotely cheap enouugh. Pawn shops here are stupid high on car audio! I was really hoping someone would be kind enoguh to send me an old beater sub for the price of shipping or a bit more. I may break down and by an SA 8 or something and beat the hell out of it for a while...
