How the hell did you blow up an ADS PH15.2???
I wish i knew //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I got f*ed on cl cuz i was lazy, and didnt have my car wired at the time. I'd love to have it fixed, but I'm not even sure its worth it

The problem with those amps is that most of their 'guts' have been discontinued and to compound things even more; there's very little protection circuitry on the amp. So if someone did something stupid, you could be in for a big bill. If it's an opamp that took a dump or a bad cap or two, those are quite easy to fix. But if someone thought "all old school amps are 1ohm stable", bridged all channels to drive subs, or was sloppy with the install; your power supply is roasted. Take the bottom cover off and give it a sniff. I really doubt it blew something on the output side; Toshiba T03Ps are tough S.O.B.'s and is why those amps last over two decades.

Just so you know, I currently own 3 old school ADS *.2 amps and have owned close to a dozen in the past.

 
i have taken it apart. can't see anything visibly burned, and no bad smells. it just doesnt have output besides a strange pulse every 15-25 sec. really know very little about amp repair haha.
