You could get the cl-61a on thezeb.com for 149$ shipped. The difference between the cl-61 & cl-61a is just the red color on the ring.

That was my original intention. However, they are sold-out of the CL-61a's on thezeb.com. If I knew that they were getting more in, I would order a set. However, if they are limited due to a painting error then I doubt there will be more, unless they purposely screwed up the paint?

i think they have them back in stock. There is no screw up on the paint. There might have been a year ago when they first got a batch in. But it seems CDT is just selling the regular cl-61's at $149 but calling them A. The ones i got said CL-61's, no where did it mention that they were the 61A's. The paint is exactly the same on those and the CL-6x's. And i don't think they ever had a paint problem on the coaxs. Its just marketing thing.. The code to what? They have the 61A's for $149, and the 61's for $199. There both the exact same thing though..
