WTB battery

Hey guys, I am looking for a second battery for the trunk that I can pair up with my redtop that will be under the hood. I heard that the batteries should be somewhat the same size in CCA so I am looking for something in the 800-1000 CCA since the redtop is at 920 CCA I believe.. I prefer to get a yellow top but anything around those specs will do. Also, I would like to keep the price around $150.

your batteries don't have to have similar CCA ratings to be used together.

I heard that if one is bigger then the other one, the biger one will drain the smaller one.

some people use isolators between the batteries but thats not just because of the CCA rating. its if the internal resistance is lower on one battery than the other or something. but others have ran batteries that are different in ratings with their battery under the hood without the isolator and don't have any problems.
