WTB:AQ SDC12 or DD 2512

Browse the classifieds a few pages back they have a dd for sale and in my opinion you are better off with the dd then the sdc. I personally have a 2510 and it gets loud and sound way better than the sdc10 but that's my opinion

Brand new I would agree but looking through the classifieds you can find the dd for around the same price. And I look at it this way aq is just knock off dd. And louisianacrx is a great guy bit of a showoff but he has some nice stuff and normally sells at pretty good prices

Nobody spells my username out Haha lazy people nowdays. Anyways if you want a 4th order. I do have a design for the low end cutoff at 28hz worked great for me for the 2512. I probably could do the aq if I had the specs just let me know

Well the design I have for the 2512 is .8cubes sealed chamber 1.65 ported chamber with a 4 inch port 19.5 inches long. Displacments were already added in so before displacements it's .7 cubes sealed and 1.5 cubes ported The port doesn't have to be an aero I just like them because they save space and can be changed easily

Honestly, the SDC and the 25 series are in 2 different categories...perhaps for the cost, the sdc is a "better" sub, but the 25 overall is quite a bit better. DDs have a rep for being very loud, but with a lack of general sq...well AQ is basically the same, so you are looking basically at 2 "output" subs. I do advocate the SDC as one of the better bang for your buck "loud" subs, but no way can it take the abuse that a 25 can. I believe the 25s are rated at 750/3000 or something crazy.

The 2500s can take 1500 rms daily if set up correctly but like any other sub that's with no clipping. IMHO that's when my sub actually came alive with around 1000 to 1500 rms it just wanted more than 750
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they could take a little more then that...thats why i say that in no way can an sdc handle what a 25 will
