Title says it all. Looking for either a 4 channel amp that can do AT LEAST 400x2 RMS @ 4 ohm bridged, a 2 channel amp that can do 400x2 RMS @ 4 ohm, or a pair of matching mono amps that can each do 400x1 RMS @ 4 ohms. Not 400 max, 400 RMS. Preferably at least 500 RMS so I have some decent headroom. Or a single Planet Audio TT2250D, I already have one I'd make a pair with them.

Running a pair of subs, so amps that only output subwoofer frequencies are fine. I don't want anything crappy (like cheap sony xplod stuff) I'd prefer something like a good Eclipse or something.

I have a pair of mint soundstream van gogh amps with original box and manuals. Vga500.4 and vga800.2 the 500.4 does 500 x 2 @ 4 ohm bridged and the 800.2 does 400 x 2 @ 2 ohm or 800 @ 4 ohm bridged. Would let go for the right price... Pics if truly interested, just pm me. These amps both have .002 THD, 115 signal to noise ratio, >500 damping factor, rms ratings are rated @ 12 volts, so they do more @ 14v. And they are as close to new as you can find them, pretty rare.

Here's a picture of a vga1600.2 and vga500.4 just to give you a picture of how they look. Note, both my amps have the same dimensions, so they match very well.

I'd be interested in the 500.4, probably outta my price range.

I've heard the 500x2 @ 4 ohms is overrated on the MB Quart amps. That's what they'd put out if the amps did 250 RMS @ 2 ohms, which is a little unlikely.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. I'm really on the fence on selling them, but if love to try out the zuki eleets amps, so... You can pm me if your interested in both amps, as it would leave you wanting the matching mint mono like I did.

Why is 250x4@2ohms unlikely? I mean the thing has 120A worth of fusing. Yet, you'd be interested in the vga500.4 claiming the same specs, which according to the manual I found requires a 60A fuse? sotelomichael can correct me if I'm wrong about that info though.

The reason I doubt the MB Quart claim is that it claims 125 x 4 @ 4 ohms, and 250 x 4 @ 2 ohms. In my experience, if an amp puts out XX amps at 4 ohms it won't put out quite double that much into 2 ohms, usually about 1.5-1.75 times as much. I was also super tired when I read about the Van Gogh one, so I didn't have the presence of mind to doubt it lol.

And I ended up buying an older Hifonics Olympus amp, underrated at 360 watts x 2 channels @ 4 ohms bridged on 11.5 volts. Should do fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
