Title says it all. Looking for either a 4 channel amp that can do AT LEAST 400x2 RMS @ 4 ohm bridged, a 2 channel amp that can do 400x2 RMS @ 4 ohm, or a pair of matching mono amps that can each do 400x1 RMS @ 4 ohms. Not 400 max, 400 RMS. Preferably at least 500 RMS so I have some decent headroom. Or a single Planet Audio TT2250D, I already have one I'd make a pair with them.

Running a pair of subs, so amps that only output subwoofer frequencies are fine. I don't want anything crappy (like cheap sony xplod stuff) I'd prefer something like a good Eclipse or something.

US AMPS 400X in chrome. 400 RMS times 2 at 4 ohms. It is the 24 inch verstion in mint condition. Id have to ask for 450 plus ship on this one.

PM if interested.

Jon

Your inbox is full. This amp is a pure SQ AB amp. 0.006% harmonic distortion. It is chrome, in MINT condition... you wont find a better specimen. Why am I selling? I just got Brax.

Sorry about that. A bunch of n00bs contacted me being all like "omg I have an amp that does 120x2 will that work?" and flooded my inbox. Cleared though. Might be a bit higher SQ than I need for a sub amp lol.

I have other amps too... less pricey. For instance, I have a USA-1000X and USA-1000. I can sell those for 280 plus shipp.

you are looking at 1000RMS at 4 and 2 ohms bridged respectively.

Those are also SQ. PM me your email and ill send you a list of what I have. I need to sell some of them, I have about 15 amps im not using //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

JL Audio 1000/1 slash series. AMP HAS DUAL MONO OUTPUTS. Simply run each sub to one side, and sub will see 500 watts RMS each at any load from 1.5 to 4 ohms. This is the amp you need to achieve what you state your requirements are! TRUE 1000 watts RMS @ 4,3, or 1.5 ohm. D Class. Will put out rated output @ 11.5-15.0 volts, instead of planet audio test voltage of 13.0 volts. Amp will accept 200mv-8 RMS input (RCA) voltage, so this can be "line driver driven" up to 8 volts. 22.0 lbs of raw unregulated BASS. This will keep your trunk knockin. With a constant 1000 watt RMS output at variable ohm loads make this a smart choice not only for your current woofer ohm load configuration, but allows you to change subs & ohm loads with out replacing what is typically the most expensive part of a system. Buy proven high end equipment and get high end results. Lucky for you you get it at near Sony Xplode prices.

will take 325 + shipping

Uhhh mono amp is mono amp bro, those extra terminals are just that to keep your install clean so you dont have to cram speaker cable into 2 terminals. Its a 1000rms there is no 500 on one side type deal. Thats why it is called 1000/1 not a 500/2.

1000 watts RMS divided by 2 woofers = ??? 500 per sub. Pretty sure to my knowledge JL doesn't make a 500/2 D class amp. Technically you are right that it is a mono 1000/1 amp but it can be and has been used as a amp to power 2 subs at 500 watts per sub. If he were to run 4 subs within the ohm load of the amp, 1000 watts divided out by 4, final wattage output to each sub would equal 250 watts, no matter how you do the numbers if wired correctly. Additionally if you wire correctly you can wire 2 4 ohm woofers in parallel, woofer to woofer and have a single lead from the box to the amp to achieve a cleaner install if that is what the additional terminals are for on amplifiers (IE: Rockford Fosgate Power 50M, Power 250M which have singular speaker output). Not to say that it intended not to be used for one woofer but I have personally seen 6 woofers ran on a Rockford Power 50M without 6 speaker outputs on the amp. I'm not a newbie in car audio. I've been around car audio since 1978 (the year I was born) I've sold and installed on my own, my father was an authorized dealer for over 20 years and competed in IASCA 93-97 and USACi world finals 96-06, it's one of the few things I'm passionate about and been around my entire life.

Looking for two channels...otherwise I'd say 800 RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms... I can do that kind of simple math, and that would be way cheaper, but I want to be able to tune the subs a bit better. Namely time align them and use balance controls so I'm not overly conscious of bass coming from one side or the other..

Its still a mono signal no matter how much you spin it, He wants channel seperation.

I have no idea whether the Zed has audible noise. I have a planet Audio full range class D to my front stage, no audible noise at all. PM me pics and specs and stuff.
