They're very different. 3" coil vs 2.5". X has more slugs, copper shortening sleeve. Should do fine on 1500rms when I'm done.

dude, i got 2 x motors off here not too long ago. got splaudio to do some 3" 8 layers, should do about 2-2.5k each. havnt put them in yet, but i really need to.
