i have a cda-7949 alpine deck. better than the 7995 in competition spec. copper chassis, 3 true 4 volt preouts. optical output. pre-amp only. unbeatable sound quality. in same comparison with sony c90 pioneer p92r, clarion hxd-10, etc. lmk thanks.

had that one before as well...love it ...but I have had a string now of bad luck with older decks and I am going to buy a new one....totally defeats the purpose of ever taking out my good 8053 deck.....I got 2 7940's and one 7863(the 7863 is actually good)

i have a 7863. took it out of the car before the accident which was on the 31st and now the car is total and the deck is sittin in the room.
