i have 2 6" aeros i want to sell, they have been mounted but never cut, they are still the full

17" , id like $80 shipped USPS priority mail

lol, you can pick up 2 BNIB 6" ports off parts express for around $85 shipped (have to call since they are not listed on the site yet. told me they got them last friday)

or you can get 4 4" BNIB ports for $62 shipped (thats to southern california) from parts express as well.

4 4" have only 6"^2 less of port area than 2 6 inchers

aero ports arent 17" long are they?

i thought only psp's ports are 17"

not to familiar with them so IDK

Thats why I wanted him to clarify the brand. They sound like precision ports

I'm confused, there aero's and psp ports? Isn't PSP the brand that offers aero's? If someone can clear things up it would be great, because I don't want to buy the wrong thing. I'm still waiting for a response from pedro. I'll PM you djman if I don't get them.

there are PSP precision ports (which are just flared round ports)

and

there are Aeroports (again, flared round ports, but the name Aeroport is trademarked)

Aeroport, isnt a design of port, it is simply a name given to a flared round port to differentiate it from the competition. people have accepted the name, and use it to describe any flared round port now though.

supposedly the Aeroport is good for a teeny bit more performance than the psp ports (IE, couple tenths IIRC)

BAH! i was trying so hard to think of an example. thats a good one.

"Pass me a Kleenex", so you reach into your albertsons branded tissue box ...

A teacher once used that example to get us to realize the difference in trademarked & generic..

..in like 6th grade lol.

Oh ok, thats what i thought PSP was the brand, but since that's what mostly everyone has as aero's people go off that. Thanks for clearing things up. Thought it may have been slightly different.
