yes I was thinkin that and than maybe just flare the ends with mdf...and just making sure but the legth of pvc is the same as the length of an aero port for the same tuning correct? Does the flare make much of a diff in tuning, I know its allows for less turbulance

Not tryn thread jack or nothing man but my build basically done sub in etc... and man that one 18" owns my two 15s i had i love AQ they hit low's so nice. You & Mikey will have to hear it sometime.

The flares to change tuning.

But it won't be enough for you to recognize a real difference.

As for flares, they aren't necessary.

I did a build for 2 P3's and I just used PVC from Home Depot. I cut it on my table saw, making small cuts, used some sand paper to get the edges smooth and it works fine.

I was gunna make this... but I decided not to. I saw someone else do this same thing, and said it worked great.

Just to give you an idea for something you can do if you do plan on making the flair.

EDIT: BTW, that's just a 6" diameter circle with a round-over. Shouldn't be too hard to make if you have a router / router table.

I know right Bro only thing is man getting a real bad voltage drop so i think i need to finish my BIG 3 lol. But i need to save up so can get a fuse holder first but no big. Also im going to be getting a M.L.A. from chris at missinglinkaudio.com save up my christmas money & money for that $167shipped so not to bad. Yeah man we deff gotta have a meet bro. Believe me this AQ love's aero's also i did a 5.4cubes box with two 6" external aeros.

thanks so much. I had an idea like that. I may just go get some pvc from the hardware store. I've used it b4 with my eclipse ti and I thought it sounded great. Prolly gonna make a new box for my hdc3's around 7 cubes at 38-40hz...figure smaller might get a lil louder, and be a lil more efficient

Will do bro chris said it will deff help. Im running it right now with a Us amps MD.2D amp but i wanna try trade that amp for a more power amp something like 2k+ this sub can take alot of power. she's still begging for more power lol.
