If I get it reconed will it make that big of a difference w the soft parts

Just get yours reconed. It will be much cheaper. If worried about them matching dd could probably answer that better than anyone else.

Well the d4's were sold so it looks like I ill be looking for d4 or d1.. But it just cost so much to ship the thing and the time to get it back, I would have to send them both in. I would rather sale my good one and get a dual 1 and send my messed up one in and get it fixed.

When you send them in do they just re use the motor or basket too? I thought if you just sent a motor the basket cost like 20 bucks.
