Type r's are some pretty impressive drivers. If you want something cheap you could look into apex 8's at $70 a pair. Other than that there are unlimited options.

i have owned type r's i played around with them, i was not impressed. im really looking to buy something different like something you dont see in every retard civic drivers trunk, i just want to play around with some smaller subs and show people little subs can get pretty loud too. this is just a little side project and i want it to be something a little different than a kicker or alpine or something.

just pick up a pair of sa-8s and put them in 1.25 net at 33hz with plenty of port area.

this is not ignorant, i have experimented with type r's and type x's i will never own a type r again, type x;s are fine, i challenge you to tak your own advice and buy the best rated sony xpold or dual sub. i know exactly what i am doing i know what i want andobviously know more than you. you got butthurt when i said i dont want the brands you think are so wonderful. i do not think that they are unless you use their absolute top product. stop post dumping, educate yourself and fuck you very much

Actually, I'm not offended because you put down the brands that I run. I just see it all too often that people on here won't buy something because of the brand. It's a very ignorant thing to do. I wouldn't run a Sony Xplode or a Dual sub because they do not fit my requirements. I will, however, put my CVXs against any other pair of 12s in a sealed box/trunk car setup off similar power. They're good for what they are. You just have that raging hard on for underground brands. I'll tell you what, humor it and beat it off.

Have a pair 10" pioneer ts1500spl subs.

Dual 4 ohm 600wrms each but can deff take 750.

they are quite nice, but you said not mainstream. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. figured i would mention it just incase.
