WTB: 8" sub driver

If you put a multi-meter on it and it reports 5ohms, yes. If it reports 3ohms, no.

The driver that died was exactly 6 ohms on a meter and uses a matched amp for power. Normally I would say that any "4 ohm nominal" would be fine, but the amp is proprietary and I don't know what load it is expecting.

Tell me what you have and I may be able to use it.
