you won't be a 8"er to play very well to 3k unless they're aimed perfectly at you, beaming becomes an issue at around 1-1.5khz if they're not...why do you need it to play that high???
I need them to go to at least 2k to blend with my tweets.

Hey, I've got a set of NEW Memphis MClass Components with an 8" midwoofer. The model number is 15-MCSYNC8. Mounting depth is 3.5". The tweeters are designed to be in the center of the midwoofer cone, but can also be installed with a traditional component setup. I'm looking to get around $275 for them. PM me if you are interested.

No thanks guys, I am just gonna go 8" three way, either DLS or Dynaudio.
Good plan...using an 8 inch midbass REQUIRES you to go three way IMO...
Or hybrid 2 way like me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
