WTB: 600-1000 @ 2 Ohms

One of the two people in this thread who can't read.
well you're not paying for extra power... you wanted to buy an amp that could do between 600 - 1000 @ 2ohm (as per your thread title //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif) it's not like I can remove the 1 ohm stability of the amp lol. so I offered something that works around that general area. Plus your budget was a little more than what I offered, so I figured why not.

I can get a zx1000.1 for a bit more than 150 but we can work something out
That I am interested in, when you say you can get one does that mean you don't own it?

seriously dude chill.. just trying to help you. if you specify what was wrong with my post?
I am chill and I appreciate yours and anyones help but I stated that I wanted something that put out the power I wanted @ 2 ohms, I dont want an amp that is 1 ohm stable because my subs are dual 2 and it seems lkike a waste to have that extra power.

But I did state that I didnt want something that ran @ 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif With two dual 2's can you get a 1 ohm load? Didn't think so, I am not trying to be an ******* but it is not hard to read and I know for a fact I am not one of the pickiest members on here.

are you sure you know what you want? it doesn't matter if a amp is 1ohm stable or not, it will still run in 2 ohm. I'm running my setup at 2ohm too, but my amp is 1 ohm stable. I ran a system at 4ohm load but had a amp that was stable at 2ohm(before it all was stolen). I'd say probably 90% of amps say they are 1ohm stable. Doesn't mean you have to run it at that. We can read, you are just being difficult. it's not a waste to have extra power, it's less strain on the amp, less heat, and better efficiency I would think.

Good luck, the kicker zx1000.1 looks nice.

I picked up an Orion 1200D today it is 1 ohm stable but it will still work like you said and you do make a point about the straining on the amp and efficiency. I am going to hook it up in my Jeep altough it's not being driven because of body work and doing some odd and end things to it but it will be for sale on the forums in a few days probabayly. Thanks again for your suggestions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well I have a kicker zx1000.1

These responses are funny as hell. I understand where u are coming from. I was the same way when I bought this kicker. I just wanted a 2 ohm stable amp because I was pretty content on what it would do plus I had no intentions of upgrading what's in my car. Just daily bump to keep me happy. But PM me because I'm right in your price range. I got some bills to pay. ****ed recession. Lol

sweet man, take some pictures of your install, and your jeep. I drive one too!

I'll be upgrading my system this week too. Just bought a audiopipe ap30001d (will do about 2000 watts at 2ohm). I really only need about 1200-1500, but never hurts to have a little extra. :p Proper gain setting and all will be good.
