i ahve some canton 5.25" comps that are superb componets. sister company to MB quart uses same mid bass as the QSD set by MB but a 1" silk dome tweet. make an offer if your interested they retail for 500.

I've got a set of MB Quart DSD213's and a set of Orion HCA5S's for sale. Both new...make me an offer if interested.

If you have $250 to spend, I would definitely recommend some Focal PolyKevlar 136K's. I just installed mine today, and they are hands down the best sounding components I have ever heard.

my canton's can hang with your prokevlar's not to mention you can throw more power there way and they'll take it better without distortion.

I don't doubt that at all, cause i've often seen Canton compared with lower-level Dynaudio. I was just pointing out that the Kevlars are some b@d@ss speakers with a price tag thats easy to stomach

I went ahead and bought some infinity ref 505cs upon a recommendation by a friend. I hope they are pretty good for the money. I am not expecting something massively wonderful just something to replace my 25W RMS Aplines.

Waht do you think ?

I've heard great things about those speakers from a lot of people. For the price, they are definitely a deal if you don't want to blow a wad of cash but still want to have your system sound good.
