I'm looking to buy 4 8" subs. Something that will handle 1200 watts @ 1 ohm or 800 watts @ 2 ohms for all four subs. Really interested in RE8, SUNDOWN E8, APEX SUPER 8, AA ASSASIN 8, OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE. Looking to spend up to $150.00 total, all suggestions welcome.

Are you saying you want to spent $150 a sub, or $150 TOTAL?

if $150 TOTAL, good luck. You could probably get a pair for that much, but not 4

for $150 each, you can get just about any 8" on the market brand new for that.

If those sundown e8's are still being sold in the f/s section, you should be able to get a decent deal. I pm'd about 4 awhile back and it was affordable. Not sure if their still being sold that way though.

Found some Lanzar (I know) 8" with cast basket, any thoughts or experience with these aside from them being Lanzar? Heres the link: http://www.lanzar.com/specials/citempage.asp?sku=LP8-8

These seem to fit the bill and match my amp, based on the specs how will they do in the low end in a ported application?

I can get these for about $35.00 each.

ikesound has the rockford p1's for 35.00 each.. I looked at 4 shipped to my house was 196.00

they are 150rms and 300 max.

just a idea
