wtb 3k rms @ 1ohm or more

your looking to run 3k watts at 1ohm with just the battery under the hood, and you want it for less than 300$ the audiopipe ap3000d can be had for 380 or so its rated 3k at 2ohms but according to the guys on termpro with proper electrical (which you don't have) it will run at 1ohm just fine. Hifonics bxi2608 is 400 new so you could probably score one off here for between 325-350, crunch gp3000 goes for 400-450.

but before you dive into 3k watts, need another battery. what size alternator do you have?

Spencer just to let you know i have a bread new battery under the hood. 0 gauge big 3 an d a 200 amp alt. i plan to put a hc1800 in the trunk as soon as i get more money.

and to all of you who say 300 aint enough, i clearly stated i would be willing to save more money and i have the means to save it i also said i have an amp i can use towards a trade.

im running 2k out of my xd2000 with very little voltage drop. i should be able to support 3k just fine once i get a battery in the trunk with my 200 amp alt. ive heard ppl running 5k rms on stock alts and only 2 battery's.

crunch has that 3000d amp, ed lester just reminded me of that. i think its only 300
They can be had from 450-500 or so new, used a bit less.

But, they aren't the most efficient amps out there, I definitely wouldn't be running them off a single battery (unless it were a d3100 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif).

thats why i asked

i would still recommend a battery in the back before you do 3k watts, i know you said if 2k has very little voltage drop 3k should be fine but your talking about a 50% increase

put a deka 9a31 in the back and a yellow top under the hood (i dunno what you have under there you said its new, but is it dry cell or lead acid?) and youll be fine

and as far as amps go for 3k watts, i already gave you what i could think of, a little more saving and you could grab one of those gp3000's, supposedly they are super nice and do over rated power, theres a guying selling one right now for 415$ shipped. or the audiopipe brand new either way.

and you could probably sell that xd2000 for between 200-300 (i would think 2000w at 1ohm american bass right?)

500$ should get you 3k at 1ohm without being unrealistic, hell save another 150$ and you could get the battery while your at it.

i coudlnt find the 3000 model but the 1500 model is for only 159 right now on sonicelectronix, i just figured it would be 300 or less since the 1500 is at that price.
