I do realize that but I could always run it at a nominal 0.5 ohm, so with impedance rise it would see around 1ohm

I wouldnt risk it but thats just my opinion....seen a lot of amps go up in smoke cuz peole thought rise would save them.

Im in the same boat as u bro lol..got a re destroyer 1ohm dvc...asked the same thing and got the same answer from everyone..kicker 2500...i have a t2500 but its only doin roind 2k...i got good electrical but no way in hell id risk runnin it at .5 and i think its a more solid amp than the gp
