im not sure if i want to do this yet but im gonna post a wtb thread i was thinking of getting anther type x so i think that 2 dual 4 ohm subs would put a 1 ohm load on the amp post what you got ive got a MRD-1005 to trade not even 3 weeks old still looks new

Buy my (modded)American Bass xD1800

my amp will do....

1200 watts at 2 ohm

2000+ watts at 1 ohm

and can handle .5 ohms at 16 volts and good ventilation

Why not? Its very reliable! It will take almost any thing you throw at it....

But a properly modded amplifier will perform just as well and reliably as a non-modified one. (And to let you know, the price tag is around $400 on that thing )
