too bad if i had a pair they wouild go for like $250 since they are so rare and desireable.

definatly dude...i found a pair on eBay a couple of weeks ago, but they looked like shit. ID is supposed to start making them again...at least that's what i heard.

What is the difference between the ID8 and the IDQ8?

id8 is a SUBWOOFER, similar to how the elemental designs EU-700 is a SUBWOOFER, NOT a midbass.

the IDQ8 is an 8" midbass woofer with extension up to, and above 1khz and down below 50hz. they are medium sized, and to me - that was\is their only drawback, if they utilized a neo magnet, and possibly an inversed motor or somthing, they might be way more practical for more installations.
