EDIT: I want a big batt for the trunk before i upgrade under the hood!

looking for a batt for the trunk. can be pretty much any size.

i need something that will be able to run my atomic 3000.1d @ .5ohm daily (maybe about 3.6-3.8K rms @ .5ohm)

cost is an issue lets say $200.

You have no idea what the atomic efficiency rating is at .5 ohms. My educated guess is telling me that two batteries will not be sufficient to run that amp loud daily. It will go poof

get a batcap 8400 or the big kinetik the new one they 3500 or w/e it is

you are correct but judgeing by how efficient the amp usually is i would imagine it can hold .5ohm daily w/ not much problems.

how much power is a batcap 8400 good for? how much are they?

id try upgrading under the hood first. maybe a new alt. 200-300amp or so, big 3, then the batt. excessive amperage in AL is where my alt is comming from. u need to be able to charge that battery and if ur alt is to small, u will burn out the internal regulator..... get ho alt first. that batcap or whatever or Kinetik is big battery.

i have a 200amp alt already (maybe actually does 180amps tho) and 1/0 big three.

i would rather just add a battery in the trunk as it will be easier than replacing the battery under my hood (very hard replace battery in my car) plus then if the one in the trunk alone is not enough i can have over kill when i replace the one under the hood. i dont care about trunk space i got tons of if.
