WTB 2 18" Compition subs

Whats up? Got a question. I live in a small town and the baddest bass around here is a dude that has 2 solo x 18s in a 2 door impala donk. I have a 90 suburban and thinking of walling off the back or make it a two seater. What subs and amps would for sure smoke him? Ive been looking at 2 new fi btl 18s.

dude, you have a lot more potential with a suburban, for 1 thing kicker is crap, squares are crap and if he has 2 in an impala im sure he doesnt have them in the appropriate boxes to let them get as loud as they should, 1 sub in the right box beats 2 in the wrong box any day. show that wanna be up (and when did Su ck become a no no word?)

im sorry did I just read that right? Kicker is crap? Square subs are crap? You may want to restate what you just said.

Ive seen several vehicles break 150s with a single solo x. I know a few guys who live by l7s in street class as well doing some crazy numbers. Not saying the kicker is the best subs out there but they are far far far from crap.

sorry ill rephrase that for him... what i think he meant to say is they are JUNK compared to what you can get out on the market today. way back when they were 2 legit to quit but so many other far greater choices nowadays
