WTB 2 12z or 4 8s

Currently running a pair of worn out Boston 10.5lf subs. They need to be replaced. What recomendations are there for a pair of 12" subs for $250 - $300 shipped? How about four 8" subs? Not opposed to 15s. Just feeling things out...

Working with 450 - 500 watts @ 4 ohms.

Those seem to be a bit more than I am wanting to spend. Am I not seeing that right???

idmax 12 => $400 each
