WTB: 1600w @ 1Ohm

Going to power 4 db-500 10's. I'd like something clean and good quality, not any of hifonics low end or similar amps, it can be more then 1600, no more then 2500. My Jetta's alternator is going to hate me.

Seriously, I dont know any used, but Sundown has a 1500monoblock I've been hearing very good things about. You can check SIN for a used IA 20.1 also

You could try a kicker zx1500. They're not rated at 1ohm but with a stable electrical, they can be 1 ohm stable....

Thanks for all the suggestions, i've been out of car audio for awhile and there are a ton of new brands. I'll start researching. I'm not competing, just looking for a good reliable (hopefully efficent) clean sounding amp.

surf and dbman those amps are out of my budget, i can probably swing 400. Personally if it was a modded amp i'd like to see some sort of proof since i'm not familiar enough of the recent amps/modifications or any first hand experience with them.

ive got an amp that could put out around 1400rms given you have enough voltage to run to it.. it is a recoil 1000.1.. better build quality than a nine.1. it was benched for 1160 @ 1 ohm on 12.6volts and i actually ran it in my 03 Jetta.. stock charging system.
