hello all.

I finaly am going to have to break down and upgrade my amp.

im running hifonics bxi1206d - it works great - runs cool.

it just doesnt give my re sx 18" as much power as id like it to.

( im afraid im sending clipped signal / square waves at times ) - a whole diff. story tho.

so im looking for 1500w or better.

at 1 ohm.

my electrical is fantastic.

if you have pix post them. they help.

also post up all the specs you know of your amp, like its rating at 1 / 2 / 4 ohm

so I know what it will be capable of doing if I switch back to a diffrent setup.

lmk what yall got.

The sae-1200d is under-rated and good for a solid 1500watts @ 1ohm.

sundown is tempting verry much so.

im imagining that my hifonics 1206d is giving off around 1100w on good electrical.

I can basicly max it out, and my sub can take it and wants more.

but I dont like pushing max power from my amp - as its probly clipped at times

I know sundown is the shiz+1 but I shal ponder it more.

im now hoping to find around 1500 / 2K watts to use.

maby I can burp my sub to get a good tl measure on such rediculus power.

If you have D2 coils, I have a PG Tantrum 1200.1 that'll do 1450 @ 4...actually, anywhere from 2 to 4.

I have dual 2 coils.

the sundown amp is looking a bit shy of power that I want.

yes its solid 1500w at 1 on good electrical. I have.

but I want to use 1500w + maby. not shure what sub can take

but I dont wana have to max out my amp again to give it what it wants

and then have no headroom wich might cause me to clip......
