As the title says, im looking to buy a 12" sub as i am in the process of selling my 15" L7. I want a sub that can handle 1500 RMS from my t1500bdcp rockford. I prefer SPL that can get low with no problem. Im also looking for a sub that will be fine in a 2.5 - 3.0 cubes ported. If you have any recommendations, or a sub that meets those let me know. Im really not interested in used stuff as is not under warranty or heavily abused, but ill entertain offers.

Im looking at about $300 for a sub alone. Ill have a box built for it as long as the box and shipping isnt over like $150. The reviews i read on that RF t2d4 gave it amazing reviews and i just figured it would go perfect with this amp.

The sub needs to be a 12" and i really want something that out performs this l7 15". It takes a beating no doubt, but it just doesnt feel like its 1500 watts and the bass just doesnt get as low as id like. Im sure its because im restricted to a 4.25 cube box due to space in my trunk. Im leaning towards that FI you mentioned, but id like to find some reviews or something to give me an idea how it performs. Also clicking the link its asking me to select a ton of options on the sub and im clueless about half of it lol.

you may be happier with 2 12's vs the kicker l7 as more surface area will help a lot. because dropping from the 15 inch square to a single 12 will loose a lot of surface area. i would def do 2 12's vs 1 12 with 4 cube avail

My space available for my box is 2.5 - 3.0 cubes which is why i thought a single 12 would fit those criteria. My current box is 4.25 cubes and i need to go smaller which is my main reason of ditching the 15. Any sub / subs i go with must thrive in 2.5 - 3.0 cubes. Not that it would work, but some that peak at that size. My 15' will "work" in 4.25 cubes, but thrives in a much larger box in the 6 cube range.

yea most 12's you will need only 2 cube to 2.25 cube

that box above is 2 cube sealed off with 2 passive radiators tuned at 30hz so i can have a small box but output and low tuning of a ported

Your sn is stoner bro, I think pills would be right up your alley
My name is based on herbal applications lol. Its just odd that someone would text me off CL and straight up ask "interested in trading your l7 15" for some klonopins" which i dont think is the correct spelling. They didnt even try to feel me out to see if im cool or not lol.
