Needs to be 12.5" outside diameter. I'm looking to replace an Image Dynamics IDQ I keep blowing up, I love the way it sounds but just need more power handling. I want a similar sounding sub (IE PSI level 2, Ascendant Audio Havoc) and just concerened about the lowest octaves since it's crossed below 50Hz. Will be going in a 2.35 cubic foot box tuned to 27 Hz, and needs to take an old school JBL bp 1200.1 daily (>1200RMS). Will do straight cash or cash and AudioControl Matrix (6 channel line driver) with cash for trade. Let me know what you have and send links to T/S params.

Need to figure out why you are running threw Idq's as you say. Just buying a different sub with a higher power rating does not mean your issue with blowing subs will go away. Might be clipping them to death.. How are the subs blowing?>?

I have a nice Digital Designs 9012 in new condition...its a dual2 and 1200 would be peerfect for it...it has the optional CF dustcap and likes about 2cu ft plus port so your box sounds perfect...Ill do it for $300 shipped.... Also if you know how to repair subs Im selling my Critical Mass UL 12's with burnt tinsel leads ...both sides still read with DMM ...for $350 shipped these are known for their SQ...

The reason the iDQs are blowing is because I'm overdriving them and asking too much from 1 IDQ. I'm an eXperienced user, the rig is in my Dodge Ram which has a 130amp alt stock. Controlled through an MS8, and utilizing dedicated amps for each channel. 3 way up front (LPG nfam tweets, Fountek FR88ex midrange, kicker cvx 8's in the doors for mid bass. First IDQ died due to bottoming out in the motor, shorted the former, and burned the tinsel leads. Second due to over excursion again and broke a coile due to rub again. I've heard these subs are prone to coil rub due to their narrow gap for the voice coil. I'm actually running the Second IDQ on one coil. Ive never blown a sub in my life until I tried these IDQs. I love their sound but want to move on to something with better build quality and more power handling (ie American made sub!).
