WTB 12" Sono tube Sonotube enclousure

Looking for a made up sonotube for 12" sub needs to fit spoked basket....about 1.5cu ft internal volume...also as close to 12" in diameter as possible...Let me know what you have....Thanks

Stuff is under 10$ a stick at Home Depot....just saying. Some glue and MDF/Plywood/whatever and you got a serviceable box.

They come in 4 footers. Bring your tape measure "12 inch" tube can have more than an inch varience from one to the next.

thats cool ...i was hoping not 10ft or so because id have trouble hauling one that long...but a 4 footer would be perfect...i may make a trip tomorrow

lol, i gots one, but i doubt you would be interested in the shipping...... old school Hollywood Sound with dual input screw posts, too. ripped the carpet off years ago, though...

oh, and it's hard to come by the thick tube. usually lowes, etc carries the light duty stuff.

I use them for ports but never tried a full enclosure out of one.

Do a google search, there's dozens of build logs on HT forums. Some look incredibly nice. You shouldn't need any fancy tube at all, Provided the preasure on the walls of a cylinder is evenly applied it has tremendous strength (similar to why you can't crush an egg by just squeezing it with even preasure....don't wear a ring to try this)
