I love it one thing is that my bass is very deep and low, I have tuned my gains using the tutorial here on this forum using a test cd and dvm and when i turn it up to about 22 on the hu it hurts my ears but it is clean and clear musically,I have turnede it up to 26 and you can not sit in the car becuase of the low hertz it just hurts to bad, one thing I noticed is in the town I live in I`m the only one with Mags, everyone else either has JLs ,Rockfords or TypeRs now they do sound loud outside the vehicles but they don`t play as low as mine so they tend to sound louder, I might want to tune my box higer maybe.no the older one gen 3. i was going to run the kx2500.1 between them. how do you like your setup i was going to do the same and put them in a box close to yours.......
about 1200 to each sub and yes I had them in a sealed box to specs according to Nick`s recommendation and ported is louder. Don`t get me wrong they hit hard when cranked. How many watts do you have going to each? Have you tried sealed before going ported?
Was kind of wondering about the lows. Have my v3 in 2.0 cu ft @ 32 and it's more than loud enough. Keep hearing these are great sealed, are the lows that much better?about 1200 to each sub and yes I had them in a sealed box to specs according to Nick`s recommendation and ported is louder. not sure on port length I had a guy in Florida build the box , and 35 hz will sound just a little higher then mine`s and therefore a little bit more SPL`s.what r u going to tune to ? i was thinking of 35hz and around 2.2ft for each. how much port length do you have?
