Yea i have that same eclipse sub,One of my favorite subs.. Pretty beefy sub,Yea it will take much more than 500 ,I gave mine 800 rms and it loved it.I heard that the rating was 500rms per coil ,but not sure if that was just on the titanium or the aluminum also..
