Hi there how are you doing?
I'm new here. Recently I replaced my factory-installed Becker 1432 (the infamous two-piece stereo) in 1993 Mercedes 300E 2.8 (W124). The installer cut off the wires behind the fader and rewired them directly into the new Head Unit (Kenwood). However, I think he did something wrong so now the rear speaker channel (Right - Left) is reversed. Just wondering whether this is something easy to reverse, and if I don't correct it does it matter? I got the impression that the rear speakers are for filling the sound only and might not have anything to do with the sound stage. Am I right on this and should I get the problem corrected? Any thoughts or comments about this? Many thanks!
