not sure for myself. i would guess around 140db would be loud eneough for me.

The loudest setup i had was mid 130's, and that was almost enough, and might have been just enough if the low end was not lacking. 140 for sure would do me just fine.

Depends on what I'm listening to.Rock/metal, 140db kick drums are more than loud enough.Sounds ok if you have a very strong front stage.
