Well, I had the Memphis PRs for a little while, then they got stolen. Today, got help from a friend on here and installed a Audioque HDC3 15" on a AQ 1200D. Let me tell you.....i've only been playing it for roughly an hour now and it's a BIG difference. The HDC3 is way better than any 2 PRs, louder, cleaner, hits much better. I'm impressed with it.
The PRs were also tuned to around 29, 30 and they couldn't handle the lows. This thing is tuned to 40, it hits the lows perfect for me.
The PRs also had a buzzing sound when trying to produce high bass. It could've been the enclosure but who knows. But the Audioque doesn't have any of that. It doesn't hit the high notes as well as I would like it to, but I love it so far.
I know most of you would think i'm crazy comparing the PRs to the HDC3 but those are the only subs i've used to compare it to. Peace out!
