I'm in the market for a cheap gas-friendly car that I can throw a decent system in, and I found this:
2002 Honda Civic LX
57,205 miles
4 Cylinder 1.7L
33city/40highway
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Power Mirrors
Aftermarket CD Player (nothing special, but better than a cassette player)
Tires have about 85%+ tread left
Interior is 100% spotless
Exterior has a few minor blemishes, and an inch or so long messed up spot on the door trim above the driver's side pillar, but nothing thats a big deal.
Engine compartment is clean, the car is mechanically sound and runs and drives great.
Getting it from a friend that works at a Porsche dealer, and he has had it inspected for anything wrong mechanically. Inspection showed nothing wrong mechanically. Gonna get a carfax tomorrow morning.
I'm getting it at wholesale, for $8,092, they have it listed at $11,545.
What do you guys think about it??? I realize it's not the manliest car out there, but for the price I think I can't do much better. I've been looking at '02+ Camrys and '03+ Accords, but I would have to stick with something around 90,000 miles or so at around the same price, and that's getting them from an auction at wholesale.
