Would you rather.....

I had an aq1200d for a while with my hdc3 15 and loved it. I traded both of those for a 12" re xxx and a hifonics zrx2000d. I'm getting ready to start a new build for spring. I'm wanting some VFL 8's, 2 to be exact.

The question is, would u rather keep the hifonics amp to power them or trade back for the aq1200 for, in my mind, better power/quality....

AQ (now Q1) > Hifonics until the end of time.

As somebody who owns an AQ2200 and a Hifonics BRZ2400

The hifonics will probably be louder. If thats your only goal I would go with the hifonics.

The AQ is alot more efficent and cleaner though. And will probably last you longer. And have higher resale value... the ZRX models are not very good.

If I were you, I would sell both and buy an AQ2200
