I bought an amp off DIYMA, he's a member here too, but I just want to get your opinions cause I'm overseas. The website of the amp states it weighs 15lbs, but my UPS tracking says 11lbs. I'm not really sure anyone can manipulate UPS shipping to make it lighter than it is.

Kind of strange but I wouldn't worry about it. He could have created the shipping label at home and entered whatever weight he wanted at the time.

Some weight difference could be in packaging too. But then, that would raise its own concerns.

As stated, he could have printed a label from home and put whatever weight he wanted on there. I have to do that all the time for work because I don't have a scale to accurately measure the weight, not that UPS ever checks it anyways.

Shouldn't be a problem, when I ordered my amp it was a few pounds lighter than stated too

that is a very good question, but you could have got a bigger kicker amp from me.
