Would you paint this amp ????

I was thinking about running it in my Porsche 928 it is guards red with black interior...I figure the flat black would match the trunk better than the white
Can't believe you didn't take this as opportunity to post a totally un-related pic of something you have.

my vote would be for taking the casing out and stripping all the white paint off of it.
and then polishing the entire casing. bling bling.

imagine how sexy it would look polished up
I already have several old school polished US Amps...even the very rare polished sink links...the reason I wanted to flat black so it would blend better and not get noticed...

Well personally I would leave it alone but no one should be denied for making it pretty!

You have a lot of stuff, I'm guessing you have some moola. Since it's the "Art" series I would first strip the paint off of the amp, prime it, paint the heatsink black or white then have someone hand-paint a famous art piece(has to be long and narrow like the Last Supper or something) in the middle strip. The name PPI and model number shall be hidden somewhere in the painting. Clearcoat the paintjob then hang it in that closet of yours like a framed painting.

There is a really neat black powdercoat that has a textured finish, looks awesome. I do some amateur powdercoating and it's one of my favorite powders. That amp would look good coated in that black. I really hate seeing an old school amp changed up, but if the finish is scratched up, then it's done anyway.
