SoundStorm SSL EV3000D, how is it?

All your builds have been with extremely crappy equipment. You have no experience with decent stuff, so you shouldn't be giving any advice.
i only have one build on here just so you know. im a budget guy but build alot of local systems where a **** ton mney has been spent, you really shouldnt judge people cus you really dont know me ok? I have experience and i have budget and those arent things anyone should be ashamed of.

Dang, thats for all the quick replys guys, that is what I expected the community would say about the amp and such...

For me personally im kind of torn between a 500w rockford fosgate or a 750w hifonics HIFI... (both @2ohms) I know some hifinoics amps arent bad but others say go with the name brand... My subs are cheap and only 250w RMS anyway so either would would probably suffice... Im just looking for a bit of improvement before I can get all new stuff (Im probably getting a newer car first, and have a bunch of shi+ that im looking to get //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

Oh yeah and I tried telling my friend.... He should have at least talked to me first, he blew $500 at roadquake for the brutus subs, the SSL amp and a box.... He thinks that the SSL amp is good.....

ehhhh

Sonic electronix at least has type R's for cheaper than that...

If it is set up right any amp can sound equally good...a high dollar McIntosh or a cheap Pyle amp......

Richard Clark is an audio professional. Like many audiophiles, he originally believed the magazines and marketing materials that different amplifier topologies and components colored the sound in unique, clearly audible ways. He later did experiments to quantify and qualify these effects, and was surprised to find them inaudible when volume and other factors were matched.

His challenge is an offer of $10,000 of his own money to anyone who could identify which of two amplifiers was which, by listening only, under a set of rules that he conceived to make sure they both measure “good enough” and are set up the same. Reports are that thousands of people have taken the test, and none has passed the test. Nobody has been able to show an audible difference between two amps under the test rules.

If thats the case then why does everyone want high quality stuff? I dont suppose your running pyle? lol.

Or is it because a good brand will out last the cheap brand... idk, there has to be a good reason for it. /
