Would you consider Power Acoustik amp to be more reliable and closer to rated power?

Basically, I am wondering if the Power Acoustik A1800db would be more reliable and actually do its rated power, compared to my Hifonics BX1000d.

Note: I have done no testing, I am just going by what I have heard.

Also, is the A1800db 1 ohm stable? I have seen states like 600 x 1 @ 4 ohms and 1100 x 1 @ 2 ohms, but I have seen no 1 ohm rating.

the PA3000DB was in my lineup of amp choices when I was considering amps. Did some decent reasearch on it, didn't really hear anything bad about them.

They are more or less "bang for the buck amps". They will do close to their rated power but not necessarily always get there, it really kinda depends on your electrical system but thats a whole different story.

But if you want a solid 1200+ rms @ 1 ohm the a1800db is a solid amp for the price you pay.
