would you buy this?

i have a 2000 explorer with 4 12's and 90lb box in it+ the amps, batts, wireing, they dont like it to much man, i had to install new shocks all the way around, and i get about 12miles per gallon.. food for thought

I hope you get a huge discount on engine/head work. Also, Ford alternators are probably the biggest pieces of junk ever put on an automobile. But think of all the cargo space!

if you want to keep it i would look around. I paid $2300 for my 1998 explorer xlt leather and in mint condition and that was 3 years ago. Look around if you want one before buying that one

Don't know why some people talk s hit, i have two 15's in a 7cf box and i haven't changed my shocks yet and it doesn't sag, guess some people like to troll

yeah 04 explorer here 4.1 engine 13.3mpg city 19.0 city im having drive train issues replaced rear differential front and back axles already has 106k on it i would not personally buy another explorer just my opinion

Too many people look at options and how well it shines vs. how many miles were on it. The drive train may be fine now at 100k miles and everything test out just fine, but you really never know how well it was taken care of. You'll find out when it hits 115-125k miles. Mind you, a one owner vehicle is a huge plus. Finances are different for everyone, but I won't ever buy a vehicle over 100k miles... unless its a '69 Camaro or equivalent

dealership sold it before i had the chance...

Trust me you didnt miss out i own a 1999 explorer...my mom owns a 98 explorer

Nothing but problems everything from fuel pumps, electrical, snapped reverse bands, odd shifting in the *****...and interior stuff (lights, latches, strikers)

And we baby these cars....also to the people who talk about the sagging....in explorers regardless if you have a system or not it is a common issue for the rear to sag after a while.
