Would two 12K's be much louder than what I have now?

Well if I port, I will have to figure out how big a port I'll need and where to place it. I'm not sure if the current box could be ported, but I was hoping so since it fits perfect.

so who is actually gonna help this guy out? i've had a pair of the new flat cone k's for about 2-3 months and they totally bang. they are very efficient little beasts. and with twice the xmax and the ported box that eD recommends, you will be tons louder. mine are sealed in 1cf each and run by a jbl 1200.1 in an SUV and are hella loud. i just upgraded to the e12A (not installed yet) and will be porting that. dont underestimate the k's tho... great SQ and most loud in their price range.

yeap dont underestimate them i have just 1 12 inch flatcone k and im lovin it, put a pair of them in a 5 cube box tuned to 30hz and give them bout 350 watts rms a piece and u will be more than satisfied
