ok i have 3 amps two mono and 1 normal 4ch amp,

i dont have any distrobution blocks yet , so i was think this,

can i run the power wire to 1 cap then run 1 amp of that cap and then run a power wire from the 1st cap to the 2nd cap and then run my othe2 amps of that, note i will not do this with the grounds i will give each cap there own ground, but would this work good until i get my blocks in a few weeks?

I don't understand what you're trying to do, but I'll tell you this......

Don't give everything "it's own ground":nono: Everything in your audio system, amps, caps, headunit, eq's, everything should be grounded to the same place. This will insure that the grounding voltage remains constant throughout the audio system. Different voltages will result in a "ground loop" which will bring noise into your system.

i have always wondered how to ground everything to the same place....

yeah, everything in your trunk will be grounded to the same place.....fine..... but how the f can you ground your amps to the same place as your head unit if the grounds arent supposed to be longer than 18" (due to "bringing noise into the system")

as for the original question

GO BUY A DIST BLOCK

40 bucks for a very good platinum scosche block

There are those two issues with ground, length and voltage. It's my opinion that keeping the grounding the same thoughout the system is the most important. I think some of the senior members will agree. I've done hundreds of installs and how I do it is this............. Simply take a 14 or 16 AWG wire (same as you would use for the remote turn on) and twist this and the remote wire together. Run those back to the amp. Then plug the headunits ground wire into the amplifiers ground. You're now grounding everything to the same place.........hope that makes sense.

Distibution blocks are great, but I see too many people use them when they don't really need to.
