I'm assuming you have the dual 4's... manufacturer claims 1000 watts RMS each...

I've done a little bit of research, people say to tune the box low 15 or 16 port area, 4.5 cubes per sub!? They say the xfl can take 1500 clean rms daily.

actually cscstang had a pair of xfl 15s on an FSD 3800. Never smelled They are legitamately 1.5k rms subs Extremely underrated.

it was a 1/4 wave transmission line tuned right at the subwoofer's FS with Full SD for port area. Its WAAAAAY bigger than a normal ported box. Imagine a box for two 18s ported, thats how big it is. Its a much more advanced enclosure design.
