Hey, i need to extend my 1/0 and too broke to buy more right now. Would a butt connector work to connect 2 lenghts of wire together?? Its only temp till mid march. Heres a link to the butt connectors.

Would it physically work? Sure. Would it be anywhere near as good as a single strand of 1/0? Most likely not. You just introduced resistance in series with your amp. Who knows how much it will be? I would say that if you do this, don't run your amp full tilt. I would also say insulate the holy bejeezus out of it.

haha sounds good, its just a maybe might not even do it. If i do i will wrap it with with some damp pro. thanks
