I would suggest that yes, an HO alternator would be in your future if you go with a pair of D61000.1s

Most certainly upgrade the Big 3 (

you wouldnt be able to wire those subs down to a 1ohm load. So it would work if the amp can handle a .5 ohm load.

get 2 dual 4s and wire them to a 1ohm load, 2 dual 2s would make the load at like .5 give or take

Umm...if you'd actually read what he wrote in POST #1 you would see that he was talking about Dual 2 Ohm subs (which easily wire to 1 Ohm with the coils in parallel) each being driven by its own amp......

well yah but we knew that u can make one 2ohm DVC sub at a ohm load but he wants 2 witch means that he will either need an amp that can handle a .5 ohm load or get 2 1ohm stable amps and run 1 amp per sub..... i dont think there is anyway posible to wire t 2ohmers down to 1 ohm

Okay - he is talking about two separate Dual 2 Ohm subs which individually can be wired with the coils in parallel for a 1 Ohm load. Following so far?

maybe buy a single amp that does alot of power @ .5

IA 20.1 or Orion 2500d or something.

i dunno, it could save you some money...but i dotn know the cost of those Diamond amps.

an Orion 2500d is usually in the neighborhood of 400-500

and IA 20.1 is like 600...maybe less.

if i were you, id get Dual 4 ohmer's wire them together for a final 1 ohm load and run them off one of those amps.

yea and then id blow the subs there rated a 800w a piece im allready overpowering them
